Bethany Church of the Nazarene is committed to making its website and public information more accessible and usable for everyone.
Bethany Church of the Nazarene is committed to providing a welcoming and accessible website experience for visitors with disabilities.
We are working to improve the accessibility, usability, and clarity of our website, digital resources, forms, and downloadable materials.
Our goal is to make public information available to as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use assistive technologies.
Bethany’s website is designed with the goal of supporting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, commonly known as WCAG.
Our current target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably achievable.
This target guides our work on:
Menus, links, buttons, forms, dialogs, and interactive elements are designed to be usable by keyboard where supported.
The site uses large, readable text, clear headings, and responsive layouts intended to support comfortable reading across devices.
The Bethany design system uses approved colors and contrast targets intended to support readability.
Public forms are designed to include labels, instructions, validation messages, and privacy information.
Meaningful images should include alternative text. Decorative images should be hidden from assistive technology when appropriate.
Pages are designed to work across phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers without requiring a separate mobile site.
Bethany aims to provide readable and accessible downloadable materials whenever reasonably possible.
Selected documents may be offered in large-print, mobile-friendly, or alternate formats.
Livestreams, sermons, and archived video may include captions or transcripts when available, but caption and transcript availability may vary.
If you need a sermon note, guide, form, or other resource in another format, please contact us.
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully meet every accessibility standard.
Possible limitations may include:
We will make reasonable efforts to correct accessibility barriers when they are identified and practical to resolve.

Bethany does not control the accessibility of every third-party service or external website.
If a third-party tool creates a barrier, please contact us and we will try to provide the information or service another way when reasonably possible.
If you need website content, sermon notes, visitor information, a form, or another Bethany resource in an alternate format, please contact us.
Please describe the material you need and the format that would be most helpful.
We welcome feedback about the accessibility of Bethany’s website and digital resources.
