Bethany’s website is designed with the goal of supporting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, commonly known as WCAG.
Our current target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably achievable.

The Bethany design system uses approved colors and contrast targets intended to support readability.
Accessible Forms
Public forms are designed to include labels, instructions, validation messages, and privacy information.
Image Descriptions
Meaningful images should include alternative text. Decorative images should be hidden from assistive technology when appropriate.
Responsive Design
Pages are designed to work across phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers without requiring a separate mobile site.
Documents, Video & Media
Bethany aims to provide readable and accessible downloadable materials whenever reasonably possible.
Selected documents may be offered in large-print, mobile-friendly, or alternate formats.
Livestreams, sermons, and archived video may include captions or transcripts when available, but caption and transcript availability may vary.
If you need a sermon note, guide, form, or other resource in another format, please contact us.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully meet every accessibility standard.
Possible limitations may include:
- Older PDF files or scanned documents
- Third-party forms, embeds, maps, videos, and widgets
- Automatic captions or transcripts that contain errors
- External websites linked from Bethany’s website
- Legacy images that still need improved alternative text
- Temporary content added before a complete accessibility review
We will make reasonable efforts to correct accessibility barriers when they are identified and practical to resolve.
Third-Party Services
Bethany’s website uses third-party services, including YouTube, Google Maps, Tithe.ly, Fluent Forms, FluentCRM, FluentSMTP, social-media platforms, and Church of the Nazarene websites.
Bethany does not control the accessibility of every third-party service or external website.
If a third-party tool creates a barrier, please contact us and we will try to provide the information or service another way when reasonably possible.
