Plan Your Visit

Let us help make your first visit to Bethany welcoming, comfortable, and easy to plan.

Plan Your Visit

We’d love to help make your first visit to Bethany as welcoming and comfortable as possible.

While you’re always welcome to simply join us on Sunday, completing the Plan Your Visit form allows us to answer your questions, prepare for your arrival, and provide any assistance you may need before you visit.

Whether you’re coming by yourself, with family, or with friends, we’re looking forward to meeting you.

Why Plan Your Visit?

  • Welcome you personally when you arrive
  • Answer questions before your visit
  • Assist with accessibility or mobility needs
  • Help families find children’s ministry and the nursery
  • Connect you with one of our pastors if requested
  • Help you feel comfortable before you even arrive

Tell Us You’re Coming

Complete the form below if you would like us to answer questions, prepare for accessibility needs, or welcome you personally when you arrive.

Optional reminder: You may request a reminder the day before your planned visit.

Optional updates: You may separately choose to receive occasional church news, special-event information, and new Learning Center resources.

What Happens Next?

Once you submit your Plan Your Visit form, we’ll begin preparing to welcome you.

If you’ve asked a question, requested prayer, or asked to speak with one of our pastors, a member of our ministry team will respond using your preferred contact method as soon as possible.

If you requested accessibility assistance or have children who will be attending, we’ll make every effort to have the appropriate information and assistance ready before you arrive.

Our goal is simple: we want your first visit to be comfortable, meaningful, and encouraging.

Bethany is conveniently located in the Rumford section of East Providence and is easily accessible from Providence, Seekonk, Pawtucket, Barrington, and surrounding communities.

Parking

Free parking is available around the side and rear of the church building.

Accessible parking spaces are located near the wheelchair-accessible entrance.

Entering the Building

Most visitors enter through the front entrance and proceed upstairs to the sanctuary.

If you require step-free access, a wheelchair-accessible entrance with a ramp is available at the rear of the building.

Arriving Early

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before the 11:00 AM Sunday Worship Service.

Your First Sunday

Before the Service

When you arrive, our greeters will welcome you and help you find your way around the building.

If you’ve completed a Plan Your Visit form, we’ll do our best to be ready to welcome you personally.

Before Worship Begins

Take a few moments to meet others, enjoy a friendly conversation, and find a comfortable seat before the service begins.

If you have children, our greeters will be happy to help you locate the nursery or Children’s Discipleship Classes.

During the Worship Service

Our Sunday Worship Service includes worship through music, prayer, Scripture reading, and a biblical message centered on Jesus Christ.

We encourage everyone to participate as they feel comfortable. You’re welcome to sing, pray, and worship with us, but you will never be pressured to participate in any way that makes you uncomfortable.

During the Message

The sermon is rooted in Scripture and focuses on practical application for everyday life.

Sermon notes are available each week for anyone who would like to follow along or take notes.

Communion

On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate Communion together.

As part of the Church of the Nazarene, we practice an open Communion table. If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ or are sincerely seeking Him, you are welcome to participate.

Participation is always voluntary.

After the Service

Many people remain after the service to visit, encourage one another, and welcome guests.

We’d love the opportunity to meet you, answer your questions, and help you learn more about Bethany.

Your Next Step

If your visit has been encouraging, we’d love to help you continue your journey.

Consider attending one of our Discipleship Classes, completing a Connection Card, exploring the Learning Center, or speaking with one of our pastors.

Whether your first visit lasts one Sunday or becomes the beginning of your church home, we’re grateful you chose to spend part of your day with us.

We’re Here to Help

If you have questions before your visit, we’re here to help.

Whether you’d like more information about our worship services, children’s ministry, accessibility, or simply want to know what to expect, we’d be happy to hear from you.
